Many people come to try perfectly cooked hamburgers, fish fillet and steamed buns. The cooks here prepare tasty flija. It's nice to order great coffee.
This restaurant is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the guests' viewpoint, the atmosphere is quiet. But clients rate McDonald's below average on Google.

Update 2023-09 - staff are friendly and happy to chat. Had a gift laugh with staff while order was filled. Thanks to the whole team. I detest using the self-order machines - I'd rather speak with a person. Sadly, the person who spoke with me to take my order didn't look at me, didn't smile, and didn't sound like they wanted to be there. This is really sad. I hope that McDonald's Rangiora can work out how to make their customers feel welcome, valued, and appreicated. The restaurant was great, clean and tidy, organised and pleasant service. It was a nice sunny day so I biked out from Kaiapoi on the cycle way. Due to Covid I prefer to sit outside but sadly nowhere to sit. I sat on the ground leaning against the wall of the building. Got a few strange stares. I'm sure there are a lot of cyclists coming in as you are the first eatery into Rangiora. Could you at least put a bench seat along the building or a table or 2 for people to sit and enjoy the sun while they eat or enjoy a coffee.

Entered into Rangiora McDonald's today. Greeted by a young lad behind the till. Chewing gum with a wide open mouth motion. Seemed lifeless and unmotivated to be there. The chewing action was bizarre, he could not articulate his words as his mouth was overly involved with his gum action. Very odd.
