The worst McDonald's in Saudi Arabia. I visited Umluj with my family to see the beauty of the Red Sea. We went to McDonald's because we wanted something quick and "reliable" since we'd already had a bad experience at a fish restaurant. It was the worst experience ever! Absolutely every table was covered in trays with leftover food, napkins, and paper cups thrown on the floor. And not a single staff member even tried to pick them up and clean. I also don't understand why people who eat at a restaurant like this can't pick up their trash and leave their trays in the designated place, like anywhere else in the world! It's the norm because not everything is the responsibility of the cleaning staff. My son, who is a fast-food fan like most teenagers, couldn't eat; he left horrified! I hope the staff reads this and tries to fix it, and I hope the people who eat there will cooperate by picking up their trash. These little things make us better people. Stopped here to grab a happy meal for my daughter while staying locally and the service was beyond slow. The bathrooms are abhorrent - no tissues and someone had soiled the seat and floor with no one cleaning it. Kids screaming and playing with no parents in sight to watch or monitor them.
