Important Highlights GOOD: Wonderful service, amazing water views and generally solid, fresh seafood BAD - We ordered many items. The tuna dip came with wrapped saltines rather than a crusty bread (latter preferred) The crab cake sandwich needed more grilling, it was very soft McElroy's Harbor House was very enjoyable. The food was overall very good but the STAR was the view. The roof top dining offers several amazing angles of the marina and open water - a must if you go Our server was very friendly and sweet. We loved the chili grilled shrimp, the cold shrimp and the oysters. If you get the crab cake sandwich, go for fried to get the good crunch. McElroy's should be on your list while in Bioloxi. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Got there shortly after opening. My wife ordered a shrimp po boy and fries, I ordered the country fried steak on the lunch menu. Mine was ok, but I noticed she wasn't eating hers. I tasted it and the shrimp were slimy raw and greasy, as if they were partially cooked in underheated oil. We were in a hurry and no time to reorder. On the flip side, server was great. Professional, efficient and even helped my wife to the ladies restroom. Too bad the food has gotten so bad

I am native to the Deep South so I appreciate good seafood and good manners, our appetizer(wonderful stuffed mushrooms) came to our table 10 minutes after our entrees. needless to say one was cold before the other was eaten. Our waitress was perfectly happy with this….it was a get them in and out attitude. The rest of the food was just okay. Won’t be returning, I do know better places. We happened to ride in the elevator with a departing customer. All he could do was shake his head and say “the food used to be so good and the service was always so friendly.”
