I visited McKendrick's Steak House for my 25th birthday on October 6th, 2018. This was my first time here, and I have always wanted to visit the restaurant after seeing it a few times while at Cafe Intermezzo. First of all, my party was 15 people, we called ahead and made sure we had a reservation. Upon arriving, everything was perfect. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere. I loved the restaurant. When it was time to pay our bill, our waiter returned with the entire party's bill on one check. We quickly clarified this issue, and we did. The waiter proceeded to snatch the check back and stormed off. After that episode, we never saw him again. ANOTHER staff member appeared with the spilt checks, which were still incorrect. She was very calm and friendly. It ruined my evening that the waiter was angry over some miscommunication. When serving a party of 15 people, one should always ask how the check will be paid. It is November now, and I still think of how my 25th birthday was ruined because of that waiter. I will not be visiting Mckendrick's again.
