It’s a great location, great promo videos.. we went for dinner as a couple and loved the experience, food and service was good too. But there were barely any people in the restaurant, probably because it was early on a weekday evening. We went back with our whole family hoping to have a great evening on weekend.. everything that could’ve gone wrong did they had more guests, fewer menu options, short staffed - the poor waiters were trying their best, but falling short of time, missed to serve us half the menu, the meat went cold in the meantime, the sides were not enough. Anyway, I still think you should try it once atleast, maybe you’ll hit the good experience I did the first time. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

I tired this place today for a business lunch for the first time. We had a reservation today at 2pm and the place was empty since it's Sunday. Our server was nice and welcomed us with a smile and explained the menu. However after getting our food it was so hard to get her attention with only two tables including ours in the restaurant. She was busy doing side tasks such as drying the silverware and other non food serving tasks. So the service issue is a management issue where they need to train the servers by a professional who has actually served in nice restaurants. The food was good but there were so much spices which we did not like. The flavor was good but we truly can't taste the actual meat due to the amount of spices. So I had no idea about the meat quality. I had a chance to talk to the cook when he was preparing our food. He was so excited about doing his job. He told me that he moved from LA and he is enjoying working for this restaurant. Overall a nice restaurant. Nice music and friendly staff. I am not sure if asking the customers about the amount of spices to use is an option or not ? This may help. The prices were so high compared to what you get. The Humus order comes with one small pita bread cut in small slices. They will charge you for any extra bread. So they get you small pita bread so you can pay for more to eat your humus. Very cheap practice. It was an ok experience but nothing special at all. For what they charge the value was not there. A lunch at one of the nice steak houses would have been a much better experience. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful and constructive feedback from your first visit — we genuinely appreciate it. We're glad our chef made a great impression and that the music and overall atmosphere resonated with you. His passion for what he does is something we are proud of and want reflected in every part of the experience. You make an excellent point about server prioritization. With only two tables in the restaurant, our server's full attention should have been on your experience rather than side tasks like drying silverware. This is exactly the kind of floor management and training gap we are actively working to address — servers need to understand that guest attentiveness always takes priority over non-essential tasks, regardless of how quiet the restaurant is. Your feedback on the spice level is also something we are taking seriously. Our seasoning should enhance the natural flavor of the meat, not overpower it — and your suggestion about offering guests the option to customize spice levels is one we are genuinely considering as part of how we elevate the overall dining experience. It is a smart and guest-forward idea. We hope you'll give us another chance for your next business lunch and that the improvements we are making will make it a much more seamless experience. Feel free to reach out at trevor@meatmootseattle.com anytime — we'd love to have you back.

Our family of over 30 people chose Meat Moot Seattle for a graduation celebration, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The food was served cold, which was unacceptable for a large family gathering and special occasion. To make matters worse, there appeared to be only one waiter assigned to our party of more than 30 guests. As a result, service was extremely slow, orders were delayed, and basic customer service was lacking throughout the evening. We understand that large groups require coordination, but proper staffing and food quality should be a priority, especially when hosting a reservation of this size. A graduation dinner is meant to be a memorable celebration, but this experience was frustrating and disappointing for our entire family. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Meat Moot Seattle for large events or special occasions. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Thank you for sharing your experience, and congratulations to your graduate — we are truly sorry that such a special occasion was not the celebration your family deserved. We want to be transparent while remaining respectful. Your reservation was made for 20 guests, and we had staffing, seating, and kitchen preparation in place to accommodate that party size. When your group arrived with over 30 guests, we did our absolute best to adapt in real time, but we want to be honest — a last minute addition of 10 or more guests in a fully operational dinner service is a significant logistical challenge that directly impacted the experience for your entire group. We want to be clear that this is in no way meant to diminish your experience or shift blame. The cold food and service gaps you experienced are things we take full responsibility for, and we could have communicated better in the moment about the challenges we were facing rather than letting the experience fall short without explanation. For future large group reservations, we are implementing a clearer communication process so that both our team and our guests are fully aligned on party size, staffing needs, and expectations well in advance. This ensures every special occasion gets the dedicated attention it deserves from the moment planning begins. We would genuinely love the opportunity to host your family again under the right circumstances and give your graduate the celebration they deserve. Please reach out to us directly at trevor@meatmootseattle.com so we can plan something truly special together.
