If you love matcha I think you will like this cozy spot in Squirrel Hill. You can choose your level of matcha, level five being the strongest. They also offer weekly rotating soft serve flavors and matcha ice cream you can have at different levels of matcha as well. The indoor and outdoor seating is fine and I appreciate the public bathroom. My fave was the blueberry matcha latte but it’s ube season now. My current favorite is the iced banana pudding matcha latte with coconut milk at level one.

Honestly one of the better matcha places ive tried in the US. Price is absolutely worth for the servings. The place is warm and inviting, definitely worth a visit

I never thought coffee could be green. I thought it shouldn't be. In my mind, green was reserved for vegetables and Shrek. How wrong I was. Oh, how wrong. I feel like an idiot. Stupid! Stupid! Why didn't I step foot in Meccha Matcha sooner? How could I be so blind? My life changed the day inspiration hit me like a brick to the face like divine intervention and I spat out the heaven-sent ambition to look rightward on my walk down Murray Avenue to inhale vinyl dust and pretend to look at jazz music at Jerry's. Past the tables, beyond the glass, past some more tables, and behind a counter made of wood woodier than something that is made of wood, there stood a matcha barista – a matcharista, a machrista – named Isla? Idina? Indy? Not important. Ivy showed me the way. Irene splashed iced matcha in my face, and in an instant, I was awake, as if for the first time. Irving taught me that happiness lives in a plastic cup full of green liquid that has ice in it and also a straw in it. I would give ten stars if I could, but I can't, because there aren't that many stars.
