One of my favourite spots in the Yarra Valley. As a local I can promise you that if your after a bit of food to pick at with a great wine come here.

Medhurst is a beautiful winery in the Yarra Valley. Our wine tasting was really well done and the incredibly friendly staff provided so much insight into how the wine is made. You can tell the winemakers are really passionate about what they do here. The reserve Pinot is divine! After our tasting, we got a glass and ordered some food to enjoy on the patio. The view is lovely!

We got our quiche lorraine, which had a deliciously flaky crust, with a side salad and BBQ sauce. Yum! For dessert, we got their vanilla slice. It was pure heavenly joy; light, velvety smooth cream, and a perfectly crisp puff pastry! This is a MUST-try here!

The vanilla slice was amazing. I would definitely come back just to taste it again. I enjoyed both the meat platter, salmon platter and cheese platter very much. Very generous servings. Definitely a place that will impress a date :)
