I would very much recommend visiting the website and viewing the menu as the food may not be to everyone's taste. We were a party of five and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We each chose different options and that indicates that the quality was high across a range of dishes. The table that we had been allocated was not entirely to our liking but the obliging staff moved us to another spot that was much more suitable. The service was excellent. We found that the atmosphere in the mailbox iteration of Medicine was much more suitable for conversation than the New Street café. One quibble is with the desserts, which I'm afraid are not very inspiring. However, we were able to step into the main concourse where the Medicine bakery served excellent coffee and an attractive range of cakes. I feel that having a display or a cake menu available in the main restaurant would be an enhancement. We also thought that the prices were very reasonable. Vegetarian options: Medicine caters well for vegetarians and has a selection of Vegan options. Two members of our party chose from the vegan options and they were very pleased with their choices. I had the vegetarian Bhudda Bowl, which was excellent Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Smashed Avocado, The Vegan Medicine, Smoked Salmon Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

Went there for the bank holiday weekend for brunch. It was busy but not packed. Asked for a table for 3, found the blonde lady at the front rather rude and took her 10 minutes to sit us down despite many tables being free. She then proceeded to tell us that because we didn’t make a booking food will take 30 minutes to be served as priority to serve food will go to those who have a reservation ??? Food came out, was disappointed in the potion of the French toast as it was 1/2 of what’s normally served. My experience was disappointing due to the lady who served us as she was not friendly at all. Definitely will stop going there now. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

We frequent the new street location but thought we’d try mailbox out for a change, the difference is night and day. Service was incredibly slow having to wait some time for a sever to take our order, then waiting 25-30mins for our food to arrive. I ordered the Korean chicken sandwich and there was nothing Korean about it, it was essentially dry slaw and a chicken strip on a brioche bun with some sauce for £12. The server tried her best, blaming the poor/slow service on a new system they clearly haven’t been trained to use correctly then upon trying to pay the bill we mentioned we had a gift voucher, which then had several people running around in circles for 15 mins trying to figure out how to process this on their new system. The prices on the menu online are different to the ones in store and there is no mention of a service charge which was of course added to our bill despite the bad service (you’d think they’d take it off considering they had to apologise several times). It’s safe to say we won’t be coming back here and we’ll be sticking to new street. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
