This used to be owned by the Belconnen Soccer Club. Now it is owned by a Bhutanese group. Not much has changed inside since the soccer club has it. However, there are now several full sized snooker tables and these seem popular. The menu has a range of traditional club food, but best is the Bhutanese menu. Give it a try, it is well worth it. We went to Meet-Point House for dinner with a few friends for the first time. The staff were welcoming and kind. There were some adult activities and a section to eat. It has a pub feel. Upon ordering it was quickly apparent that they cannot service what they offer on their menu as several of the menu items we ordered, we were advised it wasn't available. We had a vegetarian in our group and they weren't able to order roast vegetables, despite roast vegetables arriving with the lamb. Vegetarian options were scarce. The meal was edible but again, they had very few options. I disagree about being 'family friendly', there was nothing available for the kids ranging from ages 1-9 years old. There was not even a high chair. With all of this, the music was put on and it was too loud, I felt like I was 18 years old in Mooseheads again, it was tryign to be a night club. Not ideal if you want to have a conversation. Also, very inconsiderate noting the venue is surrounded by residential homes! This venue does not promote community harmony but rather a disturbance to the area. I do not recommend this venue.
