Located in the bustling heart of Kitale, Megabytes Restaurant offers a casual dining experience inside The Mall on Cbd. This cafe-style venue is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, catering to both lunch and dinner guests with an extensive menu featuring African, Asian, Indian, and Italian cuisines. Notably, visitors have praised its reputation for serving flavorful Indian dishes, complemented by a relaxed atmosphere perfect for family outings.
Despite the varied menu choices, including options like paneer masala, freshly prepared naans, and a unique array of drinks such as pineapple mint and Oreo milkshakes, reviews suggest the dining service remains consistent. Patrons frequently commend the friendly service, particularly highlighting the welcoming approach of Mr. Mohammed, believed to be associated with the management, although it is unclear if this is the current situation due to the absence of recent updates.
Recent feedback is sparse with the last review posted nine months ago, reflecting guest satisfaction with spacious seating, deliciously stuffed pizzas, and hearty Indian stews alongside quality rice dishes. While dining here might appeal to those seeking internationally inspired meals and a cozy setting, potential visitors should note the lack of fresh information regarding any new developments or changes at Megabytes Restaurant.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at your restaurant. I clearly informed the staff about my allergy to cashew nuts and emphasized the seriousness of the situation. Despite this, I was still served food containing cashew nuts, which is completely unacceptable and could have resulted in a severe allergic reaction. What is even more concerning is the response from your staff. Instead of showing concern or taking responsibility, they appeared to treat the situation lightly, smiling and laughing rather than addressing the seriousness of the mistake. This kind of attitude toward a customer’s health and safety is deeply troubling. Food allergies are not a joke...They are a serious medical issue that requires attention, care, and respect. I expect better training and awareness from your staff to ensure that such dangerous mistakes are not repeated. I urge you to take this matter seriously, review your food preparation processes, and properly train your staff on handling allergy-related requests. No customer should have to worry about their safety when dining at your establishment. I hope you will address this issue promptly and ensure that others do not have to go through a similar experience. Food: 1 Service: 1

Standard meals for locals and foreigners. Mega bytes restaurant offers the best meals in town. The space is good for social meetings and with friends. It is no so good for seminars or corporate meetings. The setting is well done, spacious, enough light, and with enough air circulation. It is within the town CBD and easily accessible.
