Such a lovely place, lovely atmosphere, great place to drink....but just be careful when buying drinks on a tab, being charged for a more expensive whiskey than what we actually ordered! First round was £19, 2nd round of the same drinks £30!!! Tried to ask for an explanation, only to turn into an unwanted argument!! Plenty of other bars around, good luck to you guys!!!

A map search of the Kings Cross area threw up Megaro Bar, which was perfectly located for a late arrival into London. We pre-booked a table for 9. The bar itself is tucked in the downstairs of a restaurant, so in spite of knowing the area well none of our group had encountered it before.

We were allocated ample seating space (unusual for a Friday night in London!) across 2 booths, service was impeccable and the cocktails were interesting and worth a try. While the small menu boasts an unusual selection of cocktails, I ordered off-menu and opted for Old Fashioned's, which were nothing special but well balanced and not too sweet. Given the location the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was chilled and perfect for a reunion - it was full but not as busy as most places on euston road. I'd absolutely go back here, especially if looking for a place to host us after late Friday-night commutes back into the city.
