I been a customer of Mei King Restaurant for a very long time. I am leaving a 1 star review because I am extremely unhappy with what they put me through. I ordered through the ubereats app and spend almost $100 on chinese food. I put in my notes to make sure soy sauce and fortune cookies were included so they are not forgotten. These items should always be included with your order. They adjusted my order and charged me an extra dollar for these and inresult charged my card twice; the orginal amount and the new amount. I was charged twice for almost $100 of chinese food. I spent a week and several hours on the phone with ubereats trying to get my money back due to this greedy restaurant. I spent almost $100 of chinese food and you going to be greedy and charge me for soy sauce and fortune cookies and than charge me twice. Your $1 of greed has forever lost me as a customer. I have been a customer for over 20 years. Greedy greedy people. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $90–100

Hello Matt, we are very sorry for the inconvenience you may have found with your order. Third company delivery services such as Uber Eats, Doordash and SkipTheDishes, we are not able to oversee any transactions made by them. These third-companies charge us a very large commission and we do not have any control over the ordering process. Furthermore, we have also experienced the long wait times while contacting Uber Eats and we apologize for the complications you may have experienced. Concerning the $1.00 extra charge added to your order, if possible, could you provide a receipt or the date and order number in which this order was placed as we do not usually add extra charges to condiments or fortune cookies unless they are specifically ordered in a large amount. We would love to work with you to prevent this problem in the future and figure out why this charge may have been added. Thank you very much for your continuous support throughout these years. In the future if you decide to order again, we suggest to call us to place a delivery order as we can easily accommodate for any accidents and make sure you are compensated fairly.
