If you have never tasted Italian and Vegetarian cuisines, you should reserve a table at this bar. It's time to try perfectly cooked mushroom pizza, pizza salads and Pepperoni. You can order tasty Brezeln and good brownies. Most likely, you'll return to Mellow Mushroom later to degust delicious draft beer, wine or craft beer.

The cute staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. The cool service displays a high level of quality at this place. You will like affordable prices. The homey decor and peaceful atmosphere let visitors feel relaxed here. Google gives it 4.3 so you can choose this spot to have a good time here.

Visited on a very busy Saturday night with a big party that had reserved their private space. I would highly recommend this accommodation for big parties as this space was used for a wedding rehearsal dinner! There were a variety of really great options brought out for appetizers and I appreciated the small slices of pizza as well. The staff was incredibly attentive with food and fulfilling drink orders. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pretzels, Bruschetta Parking options: Free parking lot

The Mellow Mushroom in New Albany is nothing short of righteously phenomenal. These words are strong words, for my family is all from the burbs of ATL (Marrietta, Suwanne, Stone Mountain regions) and we hold our pride in the flagship Mellow being in our Midtown home. My father was a graduate at Georgia Tech and next to the Varsity, whenever we visit the Alma Matter we always stop at the Mellow midtown. With all that being said let this review begin; Upon entering, guests (yes I said guests; for you feel at home in this warming enviroment and not like a paying customer) are greeted with smiles across the board by the friendly staff and a "Welcome to Mellow Mushroom". However they dont overwhelm you, they allow you to take a few steps and get past that initial entry. then the hostess will ask questions to figure out based on your dispositions within your group (number of people, etc.) which table would best suit your parties needs. This establishment has everything from a very intriguing tree for families, to a group room classy enough to feed Wex Wexner himself. Additionally if youd like to stop in for a drink, the bar manager has a vast knowlege on high end alcohol, and everything priced with very competitive market pricing. A stone delicious IPA rand me in at 4.50 and it was hard to fathom, for next to Grapefruit Sculpin it is unarguable that Stone is world class and they are standalone competitive for all floral west coast style IPA's. When I was a lead server, craft beer expert, and the gentlman whom had the privilege to make a beer list at the highest end wine bar in heart of the Triad in NC which is percieved to be the heart and home of the napa valley of craft beer; I would have asked dollars more on a pint. With that being said they are doing good enough and honest enough business to be able to turn over kegs at a rate where it is extremely profitable. A restaraunt operates like a finely tuned machine, in the sense if anything goes awry, everyone suffers in house and back of house. Mellow Mushroom New Albany runs consistently like nothing short of an Aston Martin DB9 right off the lot with 1 original mile on the transmission, body, and motor. The food is phenomenal as expected from a Mellow (and coming from an Atlanta native). The open kitchen allows the guests to see just how valued employees feel by management for they are constantly enjoying themselves under stress and have fun doing it. This speaks volumes of the general manager (Austin?), for valued guests/employees make for a very succesful and profitable business avendenture. I would rate this 9.5 out 5 if Facebook would allow. However unfortunately at this time Facebook limits me to 5 stars, and whatever righteous words the Lord puts on my heart to encourage anyone reading this to go in and experience for yourself. This is the kind of experience where you spend money, and feel great/have fun doing so. Two thumbs up on this end.
