I tried Mel’s Butcher Box for the first time yesterday, and I’m still thinking about that burger. I’ve lived in the Tenafly/Dumont area my entire life, so realizing I waited this long to come in honestly feels like a personal failure. It was, without question, the best burger I’ve ever had.simple, perfectly executed, and clearly made with incredible ingredients. I’m already annoyed knowing I could have been eating this for years, but very grateful I finally made it in. You’ve officially set a new standard, and I’ll absolutely be back (often). My wife and I were in the mood for CheeseSteak and unfortunately there's not many great options. My wife found Mel's Butcher Box and we figured to try it. We didnt have our hopes up but man.. from the service to the food.. it REALLY shocked us. Now we have a new spot for our CheeseSteak craving!
