Lovely warmed bread with house-made truffle butter and sundried tomato butter plus exquisite local olive oil was the perfect start to an amazing fireside dinner. Roasted rack of local lamb was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic and delicious taste of New Zealand. Service was most gracious and accommodating. The genuine silver service and antique plates fit right in with the historic ambience of the Prince’s Gate Hotel where this restaurant is located. Don’t miss this charming lobby with crystal chandeliers and vintage decor. The women serving tonight (3/25) were doing a wonderful job. Specifically our server for the evening. She was kind and welcoming even though it was towards the end of the night. We also had the tastiest bread pudding.
