I called to place a to go order and the lady who answered was very nice and quick. Her customer service voice was on point. When I came in she was very nice and polite as well Unfortunately the food did not match I ordered a fish poboy and the fish was not cooked all the way I could feel the rubbery not cooked all the way texture. I also ordered cheese fries and they were ok. I feel this place has potential but it was lacking today. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Girlfriend and I were hungry and we wanted burgers, so we decided to give Memphis Mojo Cafe a try. We were really excited because this place was highly reviewed, but that excitement quickly disappeared once we actually tasted the food. My girlfriend said her burger was mediocre and her tater tots were unremarkable. My burger, however, was absolutely horrible. It had no flavor, completely overcooked, and extremely dry. This was honestly one of the worst burgers I have ever eaten from a restaurant. And the onion rings I had were also overcooked to the point of being burnt. I ended up tossing my food in the trash, I couldn't even finish my burger or onion rings. My girlfriend didn't finish her food, either. It's honestly somewhat shocking to see the reviews for this place and then get to actually try the food. Extremely disappointing. Will not be back.
