I visited Menkichi for lunch on Saturday. The time was around 13:00. As soon as you enter the store, there is a ticket vending machine on the right side, so I bought a ticket for Champon. There are only U-shaped counter seats surrounding the kitchen, but there are quite a few seats. I sat in the back where I could see the cooking process. It seems that several people are made at once in a large wok. First, the ingredients are fried, the soup is added, then the bean sprouts are simmered, and the bean sprouts are placed on top of the noodles so as to cover the noodles. It was made in a relatively short time. First, I took a sip of the piping hot soup from a large lotus flower (twice the size of the normal lotus). Oh, when you think of Champon, this is the classic soup.I don't think there are many people who don't like it. The taste is also quite strong. The stir-fried cabbage and vegetables are just right, and the rich soup is delicious. There's a lot of bean sprouts in there, so just pull the noodles out from the bottom and eat them with the vegetables. The noodles also have a nice texture and are delicious. Are the noodles from Tomiki Seimenjo in Mashiki? The overall volume is quite large, so I think the average man would be able to get his fill. I felt pretty full halfway through the meal, but since there were a lot of vegetables, I managed to finish it all (-_-;) The person next to me was eating a large portion of Champon, but the bowl was a little bigger and the volume was amazing! I couldn't really eat enough. I was really full. Champon is quite delicious, but the portions are large, so it's better to go on an empty stomach! Thank you for the meal!
