I feel like most tavernas in Athens are super meat focused, so I was so happy to find this gem of a place. I went by myself and I got treated really well. I love the location / setting, it was quiet despite being near to a bigger avenue. Gavros tiganitos was really good, but garides saganaki was my favourite for sure. Homely but complex flavor. House wine was totally ok too. I got some halva for dessert. I paid 33 eur for everything, which I think is totally reasonable for a queen sized feast for one hungry girl. I got the leftover fish to go without problem. Will return for sure to try out other dishes! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–35 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Available

Really great experience overall. The grilled octopus with fava was excellent, very tender and cooked perfectly. The calamari was fresh and tasty. Authentic atmosphere, friendly service, and good prices. A very good place to try Greek seafood in Athens Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My experience at Menoula really took me by surprise Tbh, usually I don't eat fish at all since the taste and smell is often too "fishy" for me. I tried fish often in Germany but never took liking to it We went here today after walking around in Athens and it was a magical experience!! Our service was a dream come true, the lady was so nice- I felt home instantly. We ordered fried zucchini, grilled shrimp, 2 fried cods and a red snapper. As we say in German, ,,ich muss Mal Butter bei die Fisch machen", which roughly translates to " I gotta put butter on the fish". It means to be frankly which I'm gonna be: Menoula made me realize that 5 star criteria are not enough anymore! They most certainly deserve 6 stars, heck even a Michelin star!!! This Restaurant will forever live on in my Dreams and I will most certainly come back to Greece for Menoula only! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
