This was my first stop after arriving in Porto from the airport. I was starved and looking for a quick and easy no frills lunch, and I was super happy to find it here. The place is frequented by local workers in the day, which isn't a surprise given their €9, bang-for-the-buck lunch, which comes with a soup (vegetable), a main (we got hake and the salsciha plates) and a cafe. Most others tend to order a wine (port or red) with their lunch, but I was too jetlagged to partake. The waiters were extremely patient with my subpar Portuguese and really friendly.
