only 6 seats available but very good noodles...buy tickets first before going inside. I encountered a rude couple there at the door.

Authentic Ramen Vibe. The older gentleman does everything by himself - cooking, cleaning & serving. The Ramen Set was really good, comes with Ramen a little rice bowl and 3 gyozas. Really tasty broth and the noodles were just right. The gyoza were crunchy, yet soft and rich in flavour. Menya Ryu is an absolute gem in Nara! Conveniently located near Nara Station, this cozy little ramen shop is the perfect spot for a comforting meal. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, and you can watch the chef prepare your food right in front of you—which makes the experience even more special. The ramen was piping hot, rich, and incredibly delicious. The flavors are well-balanced and satisfying without being heavy, and the price is very affordable for the quality you get.
