Beautiful peaceful place. Good lunch spot. Also dinner. Very very good food. Nice service. Nice atmosphere. All they need is some relaxing music like Tems playing, or jazz playing in the background and it will be an even better atmosphere. 10/10 food & decor. Food: 5 Service: 5

Meraki is a great addition to Pennington, especially with a few of the Gretalia restaurants closing recently. The owners are lovely and the menu is smallish but very eclectic - I asked about it and the owner explained that they used to own two restaurants, a sandwich shop and an Indian restaurant, so when they moved here and opened Meraki, they decided to offer foods from both. It’s unusual, but GREAT for families or any group that may be in the mood for different things! I loved that my 6 year old could get her favorite mozzarella sticks and sweet potato fries (to my taste, the fries were excellent and mozz sticks just ok, but kiddo was happy!), while I could get a delicious tikka masala and we could both enjoy lassis. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous enough that we both had enough to bring home for a second full meal. Kiddo says this should be our new regular restaurant spot, and I look forward to trying more of the dishes on the menu, especially the chaat! I ate here for the first time today. The falafel sandwich was fresh and delicious. I also tried the appetizer , vegetable patty, which came with chutney. Also delicious. The seasonings were perfect. I am very sensitive to cumin usually but I did not have any issues here. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend you stop by to eat in or take out. Give it a try!
