Mercat is a great place for a romantic dinner, a small group, patio seating and pre-show meals. The food and drinks are great, service has always been excellent and we’ve made it a regular spot when we’re downtown.

We just enjoyed a great dinner tonight. We were lucky to have Leo as our personable server. He made the evening so nice- taking note of a nut allergy, pacing our meal perfectly and even asking the chef to make a quiche that is usually only served at brunch. We were a little worried about going out now, but tables were far apart and people were spaced well. This is a great spot to eat, especially now.

Mercat is one of our favorite restaurants in Dallas because of its delicious food and excellent service. We first experienced Mercat as an anniversary spot and loved it so much that we returned for a Sunday brunch. Their food was outstanding and their service was superb! Those two criteria are the most important to us. It was a tad warm in the dining room where we were seated and it was louder than we prefer but neither to the degree that it would keep us from returning. We were made to feel very special and all staff members went out of their way to accommodate us. This is definitely our kind of place! If you haven't been to Mercat Bistro yet, what are you waiting for?
