If you plan to eat here, make sure you’re seated in the restaurant and not in the bar, which is noisy and not well serviced by the waitstaff compared to the restaurant. Having been seated in the bar on a seemingly slow night for the restaurant, we were disappointed by the food, which was very mixed - we had a seriously great pasta (with mullet), but really average mains (squid; popcorn fish) and starters (praline balls). But the biggest letdown was the service, which was seriously lacking, both for the price and its Michelin star. It was slow, abrupt and very cold, a stark contrast to the service we are accustomed to in Italy.The bottom line is that we won’t return, and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, except for a cocktail on the way to/from another restaurant.
