I gave it a 2 star for the service. Unfortunately, the food was not very appetizing, not freshly cooked, too dry, cold. .. I had much better elsewhere. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50

My friend and I decided to stop a Mofongo cafe for lunch. He’s originally from the Miami area and has always talked about Mofongo so when I saw this cafe I was excited to take him. There was plenty of parking and seating and we were warmly greeted when we walked in. They had two lunch options, we could order from the menu or order their buffet style plate. We chose to do the buffet. Everything looked fresh and delicious. They offer three different styles of rice, different types of proteins, and a bunch of sides. They also have some unique beverages ranging from beer to house made fruit drinks. Our food was delicious and with each bite my friend said he was teleported back to all his favorite food spots in Miami. I enjoyed every bite as well and can’t wait to go back.
