Receptionist was helpful, giving us a leaflet on how to get to the venue for a gig that evening. No water supplied in the rooms, even in the heatwave, no air-conditioning, but there was a fan fixed to the wall. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a bit odd, they had seasoned everything with spices, mushrooms etc, so not quite a traditional full English, they ran out of several things like melon before the end of Breakfast. But not bad overall

Omg so I live locally and decided to have a meal in the Clarendon Hotel restaurant. Big mistake. The waitress is humming when walking around the empty restaurant. As an interlude she decided to pop into the bar to have a loud personal chat that travelled all the way through the adjacent restaurant. Not my idea of enjoying a quiet dinner. They may as well not bother with the relaxing music as all one can hear is the loud staff conversations. Not coming back! So another staff member came to ask how my dinner was so I told her. She said oh I am sorry would you like anything else. The bill? Ok so then she comes back with the bill and called me “my lovely”. I am speechless…maybe she was the other chatty person.

Great location for Greenwich & areas around. Room very comfortable, staff excellent & very friendly. Breakfast very good with plenty of variety. Dog friendly & very reasonable charge for bringing one. Car parking could be an issue as limited but the bonus is there is no charge. There were 2 weddings during our stay & whilst some noise it wasnt unreasonable or too late. Would be happy to stay here again.
