It's not a huge mall but a great place to sort of pop in and spend a little while. Customer service is quite good and genuine in most stores or should say stores in visited. Kids roam outside, so it creates a nice genuine atmosphere. It turns out pretty good on a sunny day, actually.

The Meridian Mall is Dunedins largest mall. Well it's actually connected to two other malls and you can simply walk between the three as if they were one mall. Usually I only go there on a Sunday when parking is free around town. I don't use mall parking as it's to expensive and usually annoying to find a park or get back out of. There are all sorts of shops in the mall but to tell the truth we usually just go for a coffee somewhere in the mall. That said I do have some of my favorite shops in the mall. Check out the Mall if you are visiting Dunedin, and the new George Street upgrade which is certainly making town look a lot nicer and modern.

got in and was very busy (honestly don’t know why), all tables we wanted to sit at were dirty with other people’s dishes or not wiped down. Plates were not cleared until 20 mins after we sat down. Ordered food from cabinet that took 20-25 mins and tasted very bland and like it had been sitting a while, aswell
as them forgetting half of our order so had to wait an extra hour for a bowl of “loaded” chips, which weren’t half decent and were cold. overall very dirty and was understaffed and staff seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing and did not care to wipe down or clear tables and forgot about half of our food. Won’t be coming back here, was very unfulfilling and did not enjoy anything but the coffee.
