I used to visit this restaurant frequently for lunch and after-dinner drinks, but sadly, it will be closing in a few weeks. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it an easy place to stop by even on your own. My recommendation is the grilled salmon — it goes perfectly with Japanese sake. The set meals are also reasonably priced and satisfying, which is why this place has been popular among locals. I’ll definitely miss it. In the morning, we had a meeting in the bay area. After that, I changed trains and stopped at Tsukishima during lunchtime, and my colleague and I stopped by Meshiya Narama. When I asked the staff for a recommendation, she said the sashimi set meal. Today's sashimi set meal includes three types: medium tuna, red meat, and seared horse mackerel. Add wasabi to the sashimi in sweet soy sauce and eat the rice. This is the best combination. Accompanied by rice, the rice is topped with four kinds of salted squid, pickled radish, nori tsukudani, and pickled greens. It's a very satisfying set meal.
