Outstanding Spanish/Mexican restaurant with great tasting drinks, fresh food and extremely attentive and courteous waiters who turn your time there into unforgettable experience. I highly recommend their guacamole, burritos, and tacos. Portions are very generous and you will probably end up taking some leftovers home. Came in here a few weeks ago for an early dinner for the first time, too what seemed not busy became an extremely long wait to being served. 15+ min later Alejandro the bartender has to pick up our table because nobody has even given us a glass of water. We got some pretty nice quesadillas and crispy wings and I got barbacoa tacos. They give you some good portion of meat, but we’re overall just good. When it came to getting the check, it took an additional 15+ min, multiple asks, and what felt like our table being overall ignored even though we were seated right in front of our waiter who is too busy being a bartender. This clear poor management and understaffing issue left us frustrated just trying to leave and overall ruined the experience. I would recommend this spot for drinks at the bar at most, as there way better options for food around the Island to dine into compared to here. And if they serve inadequately on an off time, we could only imagine how horrible the service would be during a busy time. Mesita was perfect for our girls brunch for our friends birthday. Our server, Alejandro was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for everything. So personable, amazing and such a fun vibe!
