We had such a wonderful experience here at Meso! I found this adorable restaurant here on Google and the ratings and reviews were so positive that I read them all and was enchanted to read the owners heartfelt responses to each and every one. The eclectic and funky vibe of the decor was welcoming and warm, and then the owner took it up another notch with her kind eyes and pleasant demeanor. We ordered our dinner and the appetizer course of the set menu was delivered very quickly. The unique flavors were such a pleasant surprise! The main courses were also delicious, fresh and hot. It was my first omurice experience and at a restaurant and the unique blend of barley with the rice gives it such a great texture. The cheese on top was delightfuly gooey. I ordered the matcha white chocolate dessert and it was delicate and not overly sweet, but delightful. I am intrigued by the special tea offering, it was rosemary flavored when we visited, but I think it must rotate. They sell their own brand of tea as well, can't wait to try the chai that we picked up as we paid the bill. Meso is owned and run by a kind couple, they have been in business for 19 years. The wife did a great job with the English words and phrases that she knew, and she was so happy to hear me try to speak the tiny bit of Japanese that I know.
