We’ve been to The Old School Messingham, for Sunday lunch which was excellent! Our starters were prawn cocktail, garlic mushrooms and chicken liver parfait. Main courses were roast beef, and roast turkey served with Yorkshire pudding, roast and creamed potatoes, roast parsnips, cauliflower cheese, carrots, broccoli, green beans, leeks, savoy cabbage and red cabbage. All the vegetables were served separately together with a vey tasty gravy. Dessert were mocha cake with cream, caramel brownie and baked cheesecake with ice cream. We had a couple of bottles of wine, some sparkling water and we finished our meal with coffees. An excellent meal, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented - well worth a visit!
