I've been to (2) Metropolitan Cafes in El Segundo and Culver. Both locations deliver a calm family friendly ambiance with delicious food and a relaxing environment. Best for brunch with family/ friends and typically my go to recommendation for friends visiting out of town. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Full Order of Sweet Potato Fries, Avocado, Breakfast Potatoes, Blueberry Pancakes Dietary restrictions: They are mindful of dietary restrictions and food allergies.

I don't think the waiters are given proper management here and honestly I think they're just here until they get there real jobs there's just a feeling of give me your order hurry up I really don't want to be here type of environment on a good day to eat outside it's nice inside it's stuffy and hot The food is okay at best in realistically there's two cafes on either side I'm not really sure this place is a viable option for most unless the other two places are busy unfortunately the other two places were busy and I came here and I won't be back there has to be other options than this Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I normally don’t leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves my time. With decades of restaurant experience under my belt, I can proudly leave this review. The food is not fresh, the omelettes are from a carton of eggs with flour, the bacon they use is known as scraps in the industry, their toast is of the lowest grade quality that you can use, and the cheese is mostly oil and not dairy. The list could truly go on because low quality ingredients are a standard throughout their entire menu. Food 0 Service 0 Owner 0 I will leave you with this my friends, IHOP and DENNY’S are fine dining compared to Metro Cafe. The name Metro makes Metro Transportation look bad.
