The interior of Metro
Check out how Metro looks inside

In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Wrigley View Rooftop, stop by this bar. Don't forget to taste perfectly cooked hot dogs, duck and rolls at Metro. This place is known for delicious beer.

Live music is performed by musicians in the evening. The high ratings of this place would be impossible without the friendly staff. Spectacular service is something that guests note in their reviews. You will like attractive prices. There is a cozy atmosphere and fancy decor at this spot. Google users are quite generous with this bar: it was rated 4.5 stars.

If you smoke avoid this place like the plague. Inconsistent and incoherent policy. Wait we've got three people in line... no re entry. OH there's two people in line... no problem. If you like being treated like chattel, which has become the norm... enjoy!

Great venue. Small intimate but huge crowd participation. Lots of spot hero parking. Nice neighborhood

Great Venue, Frustrating Cash-Only Payment System (and you pay for water). Metro is easily one of the best independent music venues in Chicago. The history here is incredible, the acoustics are fantastic, and the multi-level layout gives you an intimate, up-close view of the stage no matter where you stand. The live music energy is unmatched. However, their payment policies are completely outdated and exploitative. The bars are strictly cash-only, forcing you to use a predatory, high-fee on-site ATM just to get a drink. To make matters worse, they actually charge you for basic water (which seems fair if it’s easy to buy). Charging for water at a hot, crowded rock show when you don't even accept modern tap-to-pay is flat-out dangerous and cheap. I would happily pay a little extra per drink just for the safety and convenience of using a card.Go for the legendary indie atmosphere - just hit an atm first and bring plenty of extra cash just to stay hydrated.
$$$$ Price range per person $10-$25
