I’ve been going to Metrofresh for years and what I saw last week made me leave without ordering. Both employees working the counter touched their hair and faces continuously. One of the employees seemed to have a rash on her face that itched because she wasn’t haphazardly brushing her cheek. She was clearly scratching intently. Food safety standards are important not only when the food is being prepared. Even while it’s being served proper handling practices are necessary. It was a really unfortunate experience to witness and makes me highly concerned with other practices while the food is prepared. It’s pretty simple etiquette for anyone who has previously worked in food service. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

First day: Breakfast bacon, eggs and whole grain toast; Lunch sampler, 4 half-servings @$13.00, with leftovers to take home.
Second day: Lunch sampler, four half-servings, again with leftovers.
Turkey chili both days. My stomach’s still smiling. Only regret is that they’re not yet in Rabun County.
