Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum is worth visiting before tasty meals at this bar. Mexcal is known for providing Mexican cuisine. Make a change from your traditional meal and try nicely cooked coconut shrimps, beef ribs and guacamole at this place. Taste good churros, chocolate custard and tres leches cakes. Guests visit this spot to order delicious Rose margarita, tequila or mexican beer. Get your meal started with great lime juice, fresh juices or mint cocktails.

I LOVeD this place. The asada tacos were so good. You can taste the freshness. The customer service was REaLLY GOOD. My drinks stayed full and my plates were cleaned up quickly. Their salsa is also very delicious. I can’t even chose a favorite so put all 3 of them on my tacos. Great find. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is one of our favorite Mexican places anywhere in the world. Mostly small shareable plates, their tacos dorados and tostadas are excellent and creative. Along with all the regular Mexican restaurant protein choices, they have things like grilled octopus, spicy lamb, mushroom, cauliflower, short rib, and duck confit. (The Quesabirria is probably our favorite.) Their chips, salsa, and guac are also must order appetizers and they have a nice beer selection... although be careful of the alc content in some of them. The Reno as...is high alc but they don't mention that. Personally though, I love the Mexican Lager from Revision (local Renoux brewery) called El Repaso, but unlike beers like Corona, it doesn't take a lime well, so don't bother. Finally, the staff is friendly and the kitchen is quick! Mexcal is fantastic! The food is delicious, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is electric! The only downside to is the parking. It's a small parking lot so it fills up quickly. There are other parking lots nearby. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Kid-friendliness: I saw parents bringing their kids so you can too! Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.
