If you're looking for a mexican spot in the Coral Way area, Mezquite is a great option for its incredible food and hospitality. Our server, Paulina, provided excellent and attentive service that truly made the meal stand out, she was fun, fast and very charismatic. I recommend the loaded steak nachos to start, followed by their flavorful Tripas, Fish, Steak, and Pastor tacos. To top it off, the Horchata was very good and served as the perfect refreshing pairing for such a delicious variety of traditional Mexican dishes. As a Tex-Mex and So-Cal Taco lover this is the new spot for me to come to for Taco Tuesdays! $2.50 tacos on Tuesdays! The Michaladas are on point too! The salsa is great. Also, if you are a person who wants to have more heat and also not burn the mouths of your friends, this place has a great spread of salsa for you. The Horchata is fantastic and very authentic too.
