Every was just fine yet my main course was very disappointing. I ask the special being salmon and I specifically ask the waiter if was Not farm raised , he assured me was wild. It came out to be on pieces, tasteless and it was not wild. I can tell the difference. I couldn't send it back being a guest and appropriate to my host. The appetizer,duck Pate was very good as the lobster pasta dish. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I know Italian food as well as anyone who grew up eating home cooked. Close my eyes and I'm thinking I'm back home eating Moms food instead of Mezzaluna Pasteria & Mozzarella Bar. Of course there are several exceptions, for example, I'd never had mozzarella the way these folks creatively combine it with appetizers and or salads! The noodles were 100% organic whole wheat, Mom didn't use those (I'm pretty sure they weren't available back then), and lastly, Mom made great cannolis and sadly Mezzaluna Pasteria & Mozzarella Bar had none! Ambiance was great, not stuffy like some Italian restaurants can be, quite relaxed for sure. The employees seemed to enjoy working here, all had smiles and knew the menu like they wrote it. I like al denti pasta, and for me (not my wife) the pasta was a little too under cooked.Since the food was very hot, by the time I got half way through my meal the pasta had cooked a bit more and was acceptable. I feel badly downgrading them one star for that (so I didn't), but I feel like Italian restaurants should be spot on with their pasta. On the other hand, everything was delicious! We will be back and give the another chance with the pasta!
