So I don’t typically leave reviews even if I have horrible experiences but I was incredibly eager to order from them for my 2nd time. My first time ordering, I went in to just place an order at the counter for pickup. I specifically stated that I was allergic to red sauce and could not have it and to replace the red sauce on my burrito with queso. Came back 25 minutes later, grabbed my food, and left. When I got home I opened my container to find that there wasn’t even a small or regular amount of red sauce but that my ENTIRE container had red sauce spread throughout my food because everything was so liquidy. Went storming back in, had them remake it and figured I’d just not eat there for some time out of concern. Fast forward a year and we’re looking for something to eat. Mi Ranchito is the move. I ordered the Fajita Chimichanga, substitute chile sauce with queso. I trust this process, it’ll be fine. I wait 25 minutes and go pick up the food. Didn’t bother to check, cause what could go wrong? Got home, opened my bag, and what do I see ? Chile sauce. Everywhere. On my chimichanga, MIXED with queso, in my refried beans (which didn’t have any flavor whatsoever), and in my rice (which was also so INCREDIBLY dry that had I eaten it with a slightly dry mouth and nothing to drink, I would’ve definitely choked). Obviously, I was fuming. I almost chose not to go back solely out of annoyance but ended up going anyway because I was hungry. Spoke to a wonderful lady at the bar (Clarisse?) who went and had them fix my order. When I got back home my mom said that her burrito had a slimy texture on the outside even though it shouldn’t have and her rice and beans were also flavorless and dry as hell. Overall, we’ve both said we will not be going back because we don’t trust the food there. And my biggest question is why were my modifications ignored both times, a year apart? This is unacceptable for people such as myself. Personally, I would say the customer service was pretty good, and the food isn’t BAD, but I also will never be recommending this place to anybody because I would hate for someone to end up in my situation.
