I’ve been having breakfast and dinner almost every day at Mian G Restaurant, and honestly, it’s one of those rare places in Riyadh that still does things right. The staff are genuinely kind, respectful, and well-mannered — not the fake “customer service” type, but actually good people who care about what they’re doing. That alone already sets them apart. Now the food — this is where they really stand out. The quality they offer at the prices they charge is hard to find these days. Everything feels fresh and properly made, not rushed or compromised like many places around. Their bread and parathas are on another level. You can tell the bread is made from proper wheat flour, and the parathas are the same. The aloo paratha in particular is excellent — evenly stuffed all the way to the edges, well-cooked, and not greasy. That kind of consistency is honestly rare, even in Pakistani restaurants. Parking is available nearby, which is a plus. The seating area is a bit tight and not the most comfortable, but it’s manageable — especially considering the hospitality and overall experience. When I compare it to Butt Karahi right in front of it, the difference is quite clear. Mian G offers a smaller menu, but the dishes they do serve are executed better and taste more authentic. In contrast, some places charge significantly higher prices without delivering the same level of taste or care. They’re also very affordable, which makes it even more impressive given the quality they maintain. This isn’t a paid review — just coming from a regular customer who’s genuinely satisfied. Places like this are becoming rare, and I honestly hope they continue to grow and succeed.
