Visit Michael Anthony's to hold any event or party. The cute staff shows a high level of hospitality at this place. The fabulous service is something these restaurateurs care about. Update February 2020: I wrote that first review after my first dining experience. Last night, we ate here again... And it was BETTER! Cassandra introduced us and me to food, the likes of which I would never be brave enough to order: octopus and escargot ravioli, to name a couple. My table mate's wild boar was one of the most delicious delicacies I could imagine. Every course, every morsel, every taste was a delight, as well as the evening. September 2018 OMG. Every once in a blue moon you get to have a "Wow"dining experience. That was our first time tonight at Michael Anthony's Food Bar. From the moment we walked in the door, greeted by co-owner/host/server Cassandra, to Rob at the bar to Karen out server, we were treated like old friend. The warm atmosphere and soft lighting felt so sweet. Then the food arrived at our table. Steaming hot fresh bread. Mmmm. Our first "OMG" moment. Blueberry baked clams. Every bite unique and fresh and beyond delicious. Crispy artichokes. My wife and I were in heaven. The main course, her salmon and my short rib were amazing. Every bite a delight. Dessert? Butterscotch pudding. How could butterscotch pudding be exciting? But it was. A My wife and I eat dinner out often. I have found my new favorite restaurant on Long Island.
