My family held a private event here and we had a wonderful experience. The owner was so welcoming, and helpful when creating a menu. Lori was our waitress for the event and she was extremely attentive to our guests. Every staff member we met was super friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. The food was outstanding, and our decorations were minimal because the ambiance is already set and beautifully designed. I would highly recommend having an intimate event here, or even just coming for dinner to experience the delicious food! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I tried Nonna's out this week for the first time just for some desserts to go while I was in the shopping plaza for some other business. My first impression upon entering was very good. Nice looking place with trendy decor without being pretentious at all. It immediately made me think that I would return for a dine in dinner soon with my wife. The staff was friendly while I placed my to go order with the exception of a momentary lapse, that I would describe as just short of an attitude. Basically an awkward and uncomfortable look, pause and body language when I politely declined to provide my phone number. The desserts were tasty but they were very small portions for the price. I still plan to return and try dinner one night, but I will skip the dessert. Landolfi's in Pawleys Island in my opinion, is still the gold standard for desserts in the area. We loved the new Nonna's Taste of Italy! After reading some history about the family and Nonna herself on their website I had to give this place a try for our GNO. We split a bunch of appetizers including calamari, fried zucchini, bruschetta, whipped ricotta with pistachio. It was all good but the Entrees were the main hit!! Try this place out! Cute and cozy, Marsha (the hostess) and Angelica (our patient server) were welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. I have to try the pizza next. A few ladies got the tiramisu for dessert and enjoyed it. Fabulous and welcome to Carolina Forest!
