It's cozy. It's quaint. The booze is good. The food served is a perfect pairing with the drinks imbibed, especially if you're in it to win it. TV might be playing a game, or it might be playing some game show. What I wish it played was some classic early 90's Power Rangers. But it depends on the time of day or whoever got first dibs on the remote control. You'll sit amongst locals, implants from other states or counties, part-time habitators, vacationers, tourists, visitors, contracted workers, hunters, trappers, fishermen, animal husbandrymen, artists, artisans, veterans, courtesans, pomeranians, bohemians, Moonmen and sometimes a Bears fan. Never a boring moment, and there's always an interesting story to candidly overhear from someplace else in the bar. And if you like both IPA's and deep fried cheese curds, well, as sure as God's got sandals, Middle Bar II has them, and they are the only place in the entire state of Wisconsin that does them to a level of harmonious synergy that only the divine could have bestowed upon them.
