When I first found this place I was about 17 years old and obsessed with their greek fries. I don't get the negative reviews. The food is really good, I've never been to a top tier restaurant with this type of food to compare it to, but this restaurant is tasty and has resonable prices. Today I had one of their wraps with falafel and it tasted fresh and satisfied my apetite. I had a very concerning experience at Middleterranean. We ordered takeout, and when we got home, my wife discovered that her chicken was raw. This is a serious food safety issue and completely unacceptable. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. When we called to report it, Tony insisted we send a picture as proof. My wife had to dig the food out of the trash just to show them what they served us. There was no real sense of urgency or accountability, which was frustrating given the seriousness of the issue. Serving undercooked chicken can make people seriously sick. I strongly recommend that the restaurant reviews its food safety practices and customer service approach. This was not just an inconvenience—it was a health risk.
