Mielcke & Hurtigkarl Restaurant on Frederiksberg You will not be dissatisfied when coming here, and I am glad to add a little color to the place :) When you love food, you just do, and I do love good food, especially in portions. This was an extra treat after my long journey of driving to Copenhagen from Halmstad. I am glad that my reservation at Noma didn't happen because this place was on point with every meal that was served. The elegance of the decor, the colorful chandeliers—just dazzlingly beautiful. The service was top-notch from the moment I walked in. Here are all the delicious things I had: * Shiso & Oyster - HAMACHI * Cod Roe & Blood Grape - LUMPFISH ROE * Bergamot & Anchovy - ONION * Radish & Sorrel - HALIBUT * Shiso & Broccoli - BLUE MUSSEL * Trout Roe & Egg Yolk - CROUSTADE Vanilla & Bourbon - LANGOUSTINE * Green Asparagus & Pistachio - TURBOT * Hazelnuts & Truffle - MUSHROOM Pineapple & Miso - MUSHROOM * Mascarpone & Lettuce - GREEN STRAWBERRY * Nobilis & Caramel - CHOCOLATE * Lemon Verbena & Pistachio - KRINGLE * Pine - MADELEINE The food was phenomenal, the service was incredible, and the staff were very knowledgeable about the dishes. Each plate was presented with amazing artistry. I highly recommend this spot—let me know what you think! The last pictures here show what they put on the table if it's for one guest.
