The food is good, authentic, but not extraordinary. The beautiful interior and very delicate serving raises the expectation, but in the end you don't get that special extra. Spicy is not really spicy, perhaps we should have asked for real spicy. Nice atmosphere, I can recommend if you want to spend there a pleasant evening but not if you want extraordinary food. We were visiting Rome during Chinese Lunar New Year and wanted to find a Chinese restaurant for New Year’s Eve dinner. After searching nearby, we found Mifang 米房, about a 15-minute walk from our hotel, and decided to give it a try. We were traveling with kids, so we were looking for non-spicy options, and we were very happy with what they offered. The dishes we ordered were flavorful, well-balanced, and comforting without being spicy, which was perfect for our family. It felt especially meaningful to enjoy Chinese cuisine while celebrating the holiday abroad. The people there were very nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere was comfortable and family-friendly. The portions are moderate in size, but ideal for ordering several dishes and sharing so everyone can try different flavors.
