Mika is a cozy, cash-only eatery known for its yakitori and traditional Japanese offerings, nestled in the picturesque locale of Mihara Street, Asaka. Open every day except Wednesday from 6 PM to 10 PM, this restaurant enjoys a moderate price point and is celebrated for its inviting solo dining experiences. While the establishment doesn't offer delivery services, it prides itself on providing table service for those who prefer a dine-in encounter. Reservations are accepted, so planning your visit in advance might be beneficial.
The restaurant has garnered acclaim for its delightful culinary staples, including nigori sake and tempeura. A nostalgic ambiance pervades the space, echoing a Showa-era charm that appeals to both locals and newcomers alike. Mika is operated by a seasoned proprietor in his seventies, known for incorporating vegetables from his own garden into the menu. Unfortunately, while the place exudes warmth, accessibility features such as wheelchair ramps and parking remain limited.
Current information highlights a strong early reputation; however, the lack of recent updates means some aspects about customer service or menu changes might have evolved. With no on-site parking available, visitors may need to explore nearby parking options. Bringing together elements of a local pub and an intimate dining space, Mika continues to attract diners seeking hearty food and a laid-back atmosphere.

The yakitori here is truly amazing!! The nigori sake is also surprisingly delicious! They also serve tempura and Hirezake, but the Hirezake is especially amazing! It's delicious with the master's unique attention to detail! The main course, Yakitori, is also really delicious!
