Went twice while in Boston. Aside from the price increase & the fact that they still only take cash, we had a great experience. Based on past visits, we expected a line out the door, but we're surprised that there were only a dozen ppl in the shop. We go for the cannolis, so I can't speak to other items, but my 13 yo daughter liked the strawberry donut she ordered. As for the cannolis - The Florentine is still our favorite. Pistachio & amaretto are also very good. Pro tip- if you are not eating the cannolis within an hour or so, consider ordering the Florentine. It has a harder shell, so it doesn't get soft like the others will. Plus, I think it's the best cannoli Mike's sells, so it's a win either way.

It’s shocking how the flagship location on Hanover Street often has lines out the door on weekends while the satellite locations (this one and at least one other) stay quiet often for hours at a time, must be the ambiance made famous by Clinton when he got a cannoli at the original one in the ‘90s.

Mike’s Pastry is absolutely fantastic and a must-visit in the North End. Yes—the line is famous, and it looks long—but don’t let that stop you. It moves surprisingly fast and is honestly part of the experience. People from all over the country talk about that line! The pastries are incredible—rich, over-the-top, and totally worth it. It’s basically a delicious “diabetic nightmare” in the best way possible. If you’re going to Boston, you have to stop here. No question about it.
