We were immediately escorted to our reserved table, which bordered directly on the inner courtyard. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and there was a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly and humorous. The opening with a poached egg on mashed potatoes exceeded our expectations. This starter was crowned with wafer-thin slices of the highest quality black truffle with a wonderful aroma. Crispy, spicy Parmesan croutons served as a contrast to the creamy consistency of egg and mashed potatoes. The octopus tubes of the main course were floured on the outside and seared. but still nice and delicate. Together with the salad and the bruschetta, a wonderfully light dish. To finish, we had baba with rum. The pastry was juicy, soaked in sweet syrup and topped with cream and a pistachio sauce. The delicacy was accompanied by rum ice cream and fresh berries. The wines were excellent and were priced at €8 to €10 for 0.2 l. All in all, our expectations were significantly exceeded and we can highly recommend the Mille Miglia.
