We happened upon this small coffee shop on our way to the Nintendo Museum on a very cold, snowy day. An elderly couple runs the shop and their hospitality/coffee really warmed our hearts. Coffee is a bit on the stronger side but the Cafe Au Lait was just what we needed to warm up for a half hour. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely old school p(a)lace where the music is as classic as the owners this is a smoking area, but the ventilation is good so you won't be bothered. Drinks are good and made with dedication. Mille is a small time capsule cafe run by an adorable old Japanese couple. Coming in for breakfast, they offer a couple of basic set meals that come with coffee, brick toast, salad, egg, and ham. Soothing Jazz music from the 50s-60s is always playing, and it's clean inside. We came here for a light breakfast before going to the Nintendo Museum, and it was fabulous.
