As a 47 year old American on his first trip to Japan we came to a ryokan near toi for our last day before heading back to Tokyo and home. We came to Mimatsu after exploring toi gold mine, also a very nice experience. It is a small restaurant with only three four person tables. Two Japanese style and one western style chair tables. So keep that in mind. The menu is only in Japanese but they have pictures. Google lens also helps. We got the premium eel box and a beer and were very pleased. If you like unagi/bbq eel this is a fantastic place. It felt very authentic and local and was delicious!!! We were very glad we got out and found this place!!! Prices below are for two people.
