Come here for some rest after a long walk around Squirrel Hill. This pizzeria is well known for providing Italian cuisine. The unique characteristic of Mineo's Pizza is serving good Pepperoni, cheese pies and Italian salads. It's a pleasant experience to try tasty gelato, cannolis and tiramisu. You will be offered delicious draft beer, wine or craft beer. Order great lemonade, it's a must while visiting this place.
Food delivery is a big plus of this spot. Most visitors state that the staff is courteous. Spectacular service is something clients like here. A number of people have noticed that the dishes have low prices. The fine decor and calm atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. This pizzeria has received Google 4.5 according to the guests' opinions.

Ordered pep, sausage, mushrooms, and extra sauce on large pizza. Drove in from N. Versailles 4-26 to take it out. Sausage and mushrooms were not on it. I called to just say my pizza, $34+ and a $5 tip, was missing toppings. The owner, if he is that, treated me like I’m a jerk for calling. Gets on the phone and asks, “what’s the problem?” Then confirms with the pizzaiolo, while on w me, that the toppings were on the pizza making me a liar I guess? Offered nothing. Maybe a coupon? The counter person did offer me $6 off my next order, but who’s going to try to bridge that weirdness on take out. The so called owner of this location was the jerk. So, when taking out a delicious pizza at Mineo’s, don’t pause to be concerned if the pizzaiolo, the counter help, and most of all, the so-called owner are offended if you stop to lift the cheese on your pizza before leaving for the toppings you paid for. This has to be the most customer unfriendly restaurant in Pittsburgh. The employees consistently (I’ve been there a few times ) don’t crack a smile and don’t even say hi when you walk in. They charge for extra sauce on a calzone, which is ludicrous and out of touch. They don’t accept credit cards! A blatant disregard in being a customer friendly establishment. The food is tasty but not worth the unappreciative treatment you get from the employees. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

In no way am I a good affecionado but.....let me officially declare right here right now..... MINEO'S PIZZA HOUSE IS THE BEST PIZZA IN PITTSBURGH.....full stop end of story!!!! If you live in Pittsburgh or plan to visit Pittsburgh I challenge you to try MINEO'S PIZZA HOUSE then find another pizza shop that even comes close! Consider me officially throwing down the gauntlet..... prove me wrong!
